"The Euro was one of the worst ideas ever concocted."

The European Union, of which the Euro is the official currency, is arguably one of the most effective ideas ever "concocted" with a $16 trillion economy and 3.5% growth in 2022.

Certainly, it has its challenges, but it also has efficient rail service, generally good-to-great while still affordable healthcare for all, while the U.S. has ... ignorant, dismissive, shallow, smug armchair analysts, who are convinced that nothing will ever change.

Can't go shopping with Bitcoin??? Does the general store there in Bumf*ck not accept it? It's a part of the daily economy in many large, modern American cities, including mine.

Good grief. I can't get out of this ridiculous country fast enough.
