No. It's not.

"performing math on the level of grade-school students" is an only slightly less narrow (as in Artificial Narrow Intelligence or ANI) approach to specific tasks.

It's nowhere near and not even in the same ballpark as human-like Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and not even the same sport as Artificial Super Intelligence (ASI), where the singularity might (or might not) occur.

And no one today has even a faint idea of how we might move from our current ANI to AGI, let alone to ASI.
