Hahahahaha. Love all the past tense references to the Dead ("were known", "followed the band", "standard attire was", etc), as if the Dead (and the bands and fans they inspired) weren't still going strong.

C'mon out to a music festival sometime. Not a "see and be seen" fashion fest like Coachella (yeah, I said it), but a MUSIC festival. The Dead lives on.

That said, I'm more than a little uncomfortable with the ... proximity (?) in this article to Trump, racism, etc, which run entirely counter to Jerry Garcia's "What I really want to know is are you kind?" philosophy.
