Great article. An honest and realistic reckoning.

While entirely I disagree with the need for GraphQL and enjoyed seeing many of my own criticisms echoed by someone with far more experience with it and far more at stake, I ended up with a better understanding and at least a grudging appreciation for the technology and the tools.
