Apple's engineered obsolescence soured me on the iPad and on tablets in general.

I have one that's fast, has plenty of RAM (16 GB, more than many laptops), and is more than capable of running the latest OS and apps ... but Apple has decided that it's no longer supported.

So this will be my last iPad. Or tablet. Ever. You win (?), Apple. You've helped me realize that I can live without a tablet. Congrats.
