I buy, download, curate, and multiply back up file-based media. Not only is it the way I prefer to do it, with music it's better for the artists. Streaming is great for discovery, but I OWN the things I love and support.

And I WILL NOT allow services to dictate how I interact with and consume the media I own.

Apple is the worst about this, trying to control the ways I interact with media I've purchased from them on devices I've purchased from them, etc.
