Agreed. But this article wasn't about knowing what to do. Clueless people do write IaC code too.

The article was about whether to create/maintain infrastructure alone and most likely undocumented and unreviewed using a GUI or to commit it to code which can be team-reviewed, version-controlled, etc.

Seems pretty obvious.
