35 years ago, when Exxon refused to clean up its Valdez environmental disaster, I cut up my Exxon card and closed my account.

Since that day, I have never set foot in an Exxon station or pumped even an ounce of their petroleum into my vehicles, which have now grown in gas mileage and shrunk in carbon footprint.

Next step: selling my hybrid at the end of Feb and moving to Spain, where we will walk rather than drive.
